EXPOSED AGGREGATE FINISHES AND PAVING
Exposed aggregate is most typically seen in residential and shopping centres. There are many varying options of aggregate, if you are considering this form of concrete.
Exposed Aggregate Concrete
Exposed aggregate is also a very common residential concrete but is also very popular with both civil and council projects.
There are a few steps involved to complete the process. First the concrete is poured, second the retardant is applied to the surface and once this is firm enough the final step is to pressure wash the surface area to reveal the aggregate underneath.
Paving Concrete Finish
Paving is the term concreters use for plain concrete stipple, broom or sponge finish to name a few. It is a very popular choice, especially with a colour added by the concrete plant and is a cheaper option compared to exposed aggregate and stencil.
